If transportation is necessary, the directors can arrange to rent a bus large enough to transport the children and the mission team. Cost is approximately $350 US Funds for a bus and driver for a day.

Attend a movie in Tehuacan (One Hour by bus).
Take the children to a local restaurant for dinner.
Tehuacan water park. No more than a ten-minute drive from La Familia. Huge park with a big slide, a large covered and heated pool, equally large kiddy pool, soccer court, volley ball court, dozens of BBQ grills and picnic tables, a lot of grass and trees, but the best part is the price of roghly $2.50 US per person.
Take the children to visit a local museum or in Puebla (One hour by bus).
Take the children to visit the murals in Tehuacan (One hour by bus).
Take the children to Six Flags in Mexico City (Two hours by bus).
Take the children to visit the IMAX theater in Puebla; trip might include a visit to the plantarium near the forts. (One Hr. by bus)
